How to start off a tutorial

I use paint shop 9 for my tutorials

You should know your way around in paint shop to use this tutorial...

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO MAKE!

TOOLS NEEDED

I used Diana Gali's gorgeous Birthday tube and the kit to match by Bibi - Both available at SATC for a limited time  HERE

Tube of choice i am using the art of Diana Gali you can buy the tubes HERE

(Please do not use this tube without a license to do so!!!)

Scrap Kit used "Bday Diva" By Bibi Collection you can find her kits HERE

Template CMC Birthday template 3  By Kristin 

Font used Tagetts

Plugins used Xero - Unplugged X - Xero 

OK LET US START!

Open template and press shift + D to duplicate the template and close the original.

Make  rectangles layer active and open paper 8 paste as a new layer, invert and delete.

Go to effects - pluguns - vanderlee unplugged x, with these settings:

1 - 50 - 50 - 1 -  9 - 50 - 0  overlay.

then merge layer down.

Make blue dotted line layer active and view only that layer. 

Then go to new adjustment layer - hue/saturation/lightness

with these settings:  Hue: 80  Saturation:  -35   Lightness : 11

Then press ok, merge down.

Make frame back layer active and open paper 7 and paste as new layer, invert and delete and merge down.

Make tone layer active  and view only that layer. then go to new adjustment layer - hue/saturation/lightness.

with these settings:  Hue: 0   Saturation: 0     Lightness : 100

Then press ok, merge down.

Make circle frame layer active and view only that layer. then go to new adjustment layer - hue/saturation/lightness.

Choose to change the cyan color in the frame

with these settings:  Hue: 80   Saturation: -11     Lightness : 11

Then press ok, merge down.

Now make the SM frame back layer active and open paper 7 again and paste as new layer, invert and delete and marge down.

Make the tone layer active and open up the tube and resize to  82% and paste as a new layer.

duplicate the tube and move over the circle frame layer.

use your  frehand selection to remove bits of the tube that shows undet det template and keep removing bits of the tube under and over the template until you are saticfided with it.

Then go to effects - plugins - xero - radience with these settings:

128 - 50 -  128 - 255

Then press ok.

Elements:

Open element 23 and resize to 51%  then make the tone layer active and paste as a new layer.

Open element 24  then make the tone layer active and paste as a new layer.

Open element  34 and paste as a new layer on the SM frames layer,  use your moving tool to

move the element over the frames.

Make rectangles layer active and open element 40 and  rotate it 90 and paste as a new layers on top of all 3 rectangles.

duplicate and mirror.

Then open element 43 and paste as a new layer  on top of circle frame layer.

Open element 56 and paste over the first litte frame in the bottom, then duplicate and mirror.

Then open element 63 and paste it in the middle of the two flowers on the small frames in the front.

Open element 7 and paste as a new later on top of the tube layer.

Then make tone layer active and open element 19 and paste as a new layer.

Now add copyright and name to your tag adn you are done !

Template of choice i used template 08 by Rachel

Font used:  The worst

Plugins used:  Xero - EyeCandy4000

OK LET US START!

Open up the template shift + d to duplicate it and close out the original.

Make grey strip layer active and open paper 5 and paste as a new layer, invert and delete.
merge down.
Now make black strip layer active and open paper 8 and paste as a new layer, invert and delete and merge down.
Now make the blue rectangle layer active and open paper 9 and resize 50% to make it fit, paste as a new layer invert and hit delete and merge down.

Make the glitter spots left layer active and go to new adjustment layer - hue/saturation/lightness
and use these settings:
hue: 77
saturation: 100
lightness: -4
then press ok.

Then make the glitter spots right layer  active and go to new adjustment layer - hue/saturation/lightness
and use these settings:
hue: 107
saturation: 100
lightness: -6
then press ok.
Open up tube of choice and paste as a new layer.
then go to effects- plugins - xero - radience
with these settings: 128 - 50 - 128 - 255

Use your dropper tool and copy two colors from your tag.
then go back to layer grey strip and go to effects - eyecandy4000 - gradient glow
with these settings:
Glow width: 3
Soft corners: 25
Overall opacity: 100
check the (draw only outside selection)
do this to black strip, white frame layers as well.
and when you done it go back and use the other color you choice on those 3 layers as well..

Elements:
Open up element 10 paste it behind the black strip so it shows in the top of the right corner near the tubes head.
duplicate and mirror.
now open up the element 11 and resize 50% paste it behind the tube on the left then duplicate and mirror it.

open element 19 resize to 69% and paste behind the grey strip duplicate and flip it.

open element 60 and resize 50% then paste as a new layer on top of your tube's legs.

open element 58 and resize 50% and paste it were you want it..

then go to effects - eyecandy 4000 - gradient glow

with these settings:

Glow width: 3
Sof corners: 25
Overall opacity: 100
color: hotpink

Nearly done!

Now choose a word art you want add it and then add copyright
and at last the name you want on your tag!

We are done
